Thread Title: "SAME GUN, TWO DIFFERENT AUCTION SITES????"
How can a person list the same gun on two different sites? I just saw the same handle, same gun (same serial number pictured)and the same pics on two different sites. I hope that two different people bid on and win the auctions. The results would be rather interesting. I have a feeling that if it did happen someone would be rather pi---d at the seller. I feel he should be banned from here. The other site doesn`t give a hoot what happens. This is just my opinion.

44mag, this practice is of course against our Terms and Conditions. If one of the listings was on our site, please drop me a note with the particulars to: Bob@auctionarms.com, we'll be happy to get it taken care of.

We get at least a couple of these a week. Most are embarrassing oversights by the seller and a well placed warning solves the problem. Some are by new Sellers who didn't read our Terms and Conditions closely. We hold a little training session and straighten thing out. Others put us on the track of scam artists who have "Borrowed" the picture and perhaps even the user nickname. In those cases we settle their hash "right now" as you can well guess.

I have also seen the same auctions, same ID's,and same serial #'s listed on two different sites. I thought about bidding on them, on both sites, just to see what the response of the seller would be.But I would probably end up with my first negative on one of the sites.

Report it to the AA authorities. This is a violation of their rules and they'll see to it that it's stopped.

I am new here myself, and am just now looking around to get a feel of this place. I sell on various auction sites also, and have noticed that some sellers, here and GB will have somewhat of a disclaimer in their auctions. Stating that "this item is also available locally...and may not be immediately available..". Is this practice prohibited? If so, I'm not sure I understand why, as AA..or wherever it sells would still get their fees, and it was told upfront that there is a possibility of back-order. Anyway, I still have to look through the rules to decide if this is a good place for my product, and selling style at this time. Thanks all.:-)

How can you sell what you don't have? can i pay with money that's on back order or may be available later?would you wait for your money until the item is available or would you want it when the auction is done and then let the buyer wait, what a f---- joke

I guess it's a bit different with my product that what may usually be sold here. It is custom knives, and can have one made very similar to what is presented in the auction. Understandably, we only put one on the docket to be made when payment has cleared. As said, "if this is made clear in the auction..." I don't see wherin lies a problem. Don't want to start a tussle, just trying to understand.

I DON'T LIKE HIDDEN BIDDERS ON MY AUCTIONS HOW CAN I BLOCK THEM?

As long as you have a reserve on your auctions you will have the high bidder hidden .
